I make jewelry; mostly I make things I like, that I would want to wear. I grew up out on the plains of the Oklahoma Panhandle. To me, the jaspers and agates of the American West are associated with those wide open spaces and the people in that part of the world. People there are bold, plainspoken and simple and I want my jewelry to reflect some of that.
Yep, I'm thinking about Christmas again already. I'm out in the shop turning boring old rocks into gorgeous gems for this fall's jewelry designs. The question of the week is whether I'll get the stones finished or grind off my knuckles first.
